Um, why? She's telling him to appear guilty by fleeing the police, and so far has only managed to put the Fibbonaci sequence into order (which most middle schoolers could do when I was there) and understand a message left specifically for her, by a man with in side knowledge about personal references she is guaranteed to get.
If Sophie is not just smarter, but a hell of a lot smarter than Langdon, he should be so totally mentally deficient that he'd need machines to breathe for him.
