I've been working on my Pern fic and Alec and this blue rider have been talking. At this point in time, Alec is still 'with' Jono and very skittish about being touched by other people, especially other men. At least intimantly. He and the blue rider are talking though and they end up on the topic of Alec being abused by Jono. And if this was a bad fic it would lead to sex. And I'm like. No. I'm not going to write sex. There is no sex in this scene yet. Alec isn't ready for having sex yet. Instead they're going down to have something to eat.

Writing good realistic fic is so difficult when your mind wants to go in the gutter sometimes.
