more d&d bitchiness
Jan. 10th, 2005 02:45 pmyeah, yeah, you don't care about my D&D games, but this is my journal so there.
So, much to my dispair Matt has dumped his wizard (mid adventure) and pulled in a druid. Who is basically exactly like the wizard, but a druid. We went to a place where magic is haywire and acts random and Mr. Druid flew down in bird form to the bottom of a very large crater. Half way down Druid turns back into a human and when he crashes into the ground he turns back into a bird.
He thinks that someone is out to get him. I'm thinking, gee isn't that random? He says that since he turned back into a bird once he hit the ground, someone deliberitly targeted him. I'm thinking he's nuttier than a holiday fruitcake. He has no reason to believe that anyone is out to get him. My guy has a reason to believe that someone is out to get him, because someone is out to get him. I so want to kill the Druid.
Actually I'm rather proud of myself. I had Theo do something proactive. He hunted down his bodygaurd and got her to listen to him. Admittedly it required an excellent intimidate check (I rolled a 20) and a back stab, but she's listening to me, now. Hopefully.
And we found out that Phoenix (my sorceror from the last campain) is evil and very powerful and not someone you want to mess with. *pats him*
In other news, it's very wet outside.
