Things I've found in Chaucer's water dish:

One sock
A bracelet
a toy car
two hair ties
a small stuffed hedgehog
tissue paper

He's a strange kitty, yes?

Something else I've noticed:

In my house there is

Pepper the Parakeet
Fergison the Fish
and
Chaucer the Cat.

it was done compeltely unintentionally too. Strange.

As it is the holiday season, I've noticed that the stuff you need to give people comercials have increased. One that amuses me is the Visa gift card.

See in the beginning people gave people gifts. Sometimes they got the gift right and sometimes they got it wrong. Giving money so that the person could buy their own gift was considered tacky and bad manners. As if you didn't put in enough effort to buy something for the person. So then came the Gift certificate. Thus saying yes I put in effort in thinking of a gift for you and now you can also buy what ever you want.

Now there comes the Visa gift card. Which is basically a gift certificate that's spendable any where. Just like regular money. Execpt you have to pay extra for the little card.

So I'm wondering, why not just give the person money? It's basically the same thing minus the extra you have to pay to go out and get the card.

Or would that be logical.
