I could have sworn...
Apr. 1st, 2004 11:12 amthat's what the Information desk was for.
I'm sitting up at the front desk of the library and this woman comes in asking if I know where one of the teachers are. She tells me that he teaches Mishna. And she gives me his name (one that I don't recognize) but seems to expect me to tell her were he should be. I suggest the information desk on the third floor, but she seem reluctant to go up there for some reason. Dunno. twas very odd, but apparently she was satisfied with the answer I gave her. (Directed her to the third floor where the teacher offices were).
In other news had a fantastic dream last night. It was a sort of a Conneticut Yankee in King Arthur's court sort of dream, where Harrison Ford played a man who went back in time and became the president of the US in like the I'm thinking the late 1800s. He started introducing all sorts of improvements like Cell phones and airplanes and things like that. I was his assistant who was sent from the future (his time) to help keep an eye on things and on him. Make sure he didn't die.
There was this one scene involving Bill Clinton (he was a guest star). Ford walked into his cabinet meeting sat down and introduced Bill as his husband, before getting down to the business of talking about gay marriages (he was for them). I rather enjoyed it
Gave me an idea for a movie script. Perhaps I'll write it after my novel.
