After working for twenty five years at Citti Corp TTI my father has been gifted with a Grandfather clock. A real honest to G-d, not plugged in, with a pendulaum very spiffy if slightly annoying, grandfather clock. It bongs every fifteen minutes. Doesn't help much with trying to sleep in when the chime off mode goes off at seven in the morning. But it is very spiffy looking.

In other news, of sorts, Feanor - creater of the Silmarils, elf who decided that a blood oath and killing off his kin was a good idea, Tolkien's original psycho elf, has taken up residence in my head. I can't evict him either. I've tried, but he just stares at me like I'm the loony. *sighs*

Also had a strange dream yesterday. I was working on my Thesis and the wrong characters were sleeping with each other. Eldric had seduced Alec. Not Lorac. Whether it was not Lorac who who seduced Alec, or not Lorac who was seduced by Eldric. Very weird.
