In which Kip talks about her being ill.
Jul. 30th, 2007 01:25 pmObviously God hates me.
July 10/11th, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix premiere. That day having issues with my bladder ie having to go every twenty minutes or so, so it feels like and it hurts when I pee. Still hurts the next day, call mother. She diagnoses bladder infection. We make a Doctor's appointment and go in.
Doctor does his examination. I pee in a cup. He hits my back and my kidney goes OW. So, he gives me antibiotics, a bit more than normal because of the kidney.
I take antibiotics and feel better. Still a bit of stinging when I pee but I don't associate it with the infection because I finished the antibiotics. Just sort of forget about it.
July 26 go down to Comic Con. Friday have to pee a lot and feels like it did on the 10/11th. Figure it is nerves. Next day feel fineish, pee a lot though. Sunday okay maybe not okay. Call mom she berates me for not telling her sooner. We go back home. At a pee stop there's blood clots.
Get home. Go to ER. More peeing in a cup. Apparently still with infection because white blood cell count is still high. They check the cultures and it's a bit something or another. They don't say. Give me more antibiotics. Same as last ones, I discover after I get home. Tell me to make appointment for three days from now.
July 30th Mom calls up for appointment. It's set for Thursday. Mom forgets to mention that the antibiotics are the same, calls back to see if we need to change them again. Leaves message for the Doctor.
Doctor calls back. Says he doesn't like what the ER sent back about the cultures. Says that they're different than the first cultures and there's something "funny" going on. Wants me to come in today. Will have to pee in cup again. May have to give me shot.
And to top this all off, I'm leaving Friday to the east coast. Isn't that a wonderful time to get sick?
