Worse yet, we were (supposedly) the smart kids. They ordered these books specifically for us. I say supposedly because, somehow, I was the only one who understood the references to abortions, homosexuality and child abuse in the books we studied in ninth. grade.

I swear, those kids were dense. And they gave me a look like I ate babies for breakfast if I had any knowledge whatsoever related to abortion or homosexuality. *facepalm* Any surprise that I gave up answering questions?
