Mania is good for the soul... I think.

Manic stages are strange. And strangely productive. And produce strange things.

Anyway.

I wrote up something. An essay (God, I write essays for fun, how sick is that?) talking about the insultiveness (that's not even a word, but I don't really care) and dangerousness of the Holocaust Chick Tract. I even used pictures. ^_^ (Yes, I'm currently perseverating on the Chick Tracts. Go Away.) The point of all this is, I have no idea if it's any good. And I want to have someone take a look at it.

I want to send it to the Jewish Journal of Greater Los Angeles. And I can't do that if it's just utter manic cracky talking.

So, any volunteers?

I promise to give cookies.

Also! Picture~!

...dare I ask what's in the Holocaust Chick Tract?

Well you see Mr. Weiss is a Holocaust survivor and he, his granddaughter Ruth and her friend Bob are at this Rally for the Sisters of America or something like that when Nazis show up. Mr. Weiss gets upset at this and Ruth asks for a ride home from Bob, while Weiss gets threats from the Ebil crowd.

At the house Mr. Weiss talks about how horrible those people are and he can't believe it happened. And then Bob tells him that what he believed happened didn't really happen. That it was really the Vatican that perpetrated the Holocaust. He goes on a many page rant of how the Pope is Ebil and was in league with Hitler etc.

Mr. Weiss accepts this like a brainwashed puppy and then goes "I never knew this before!"

Bob says that REAL Christians would never have done this.

And then we get to the insulting part (if you can believe that).

Mr. Weiss says, "I never believed in Jesus because his followers were Ebil, but now that I know better I want to convert."

Bob converts him and Mr. Weiss pain has all gone away because he now knows Jesus.

The End.

Since when did the Catholic Church have anything to do with the Holocaust, and since when are Catholics not real Christians?

Bwuh. Just, bwuh.

*brain explodes*

"Babylon Mystery Religion" which promotes the belief that the Virgin Mary is Semiramis and her son/husband Nimrod, and that the IHS on the eucharist vafers stands for Isis Horus Seb.

Okay so there's this line. This line is normal reality.

And then if you look really really really far away deep down in some very tiny itty bitty little hole? That's Chick's reality.

Notice how they are nowhere near each other and don't connect at all.

... just when I thought Chick couldn't be more retarded than his D&D tract...

[identity profile] kippurbird.livejournal.com 2007-11-08 07:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh Chick reaches all new heights of retardation. Without even trying.

Ah, yes. After seeing their "If you make the Jews miserable you will DIE" tract, I can only shudder to think what they did to the Holocaust.

I need to read that one. *sighs*

I write essays for fun, too.

I've heard the Chick Tracts mentioned but I've never read them. After reading this entry I had to go look at them. It's hard to believe that people take those corny, badly-drawn comics seriously.
