Life in LA
Mar. 16th, 2010 08:18 amI hate earthquakes.
I got no sleep last night. I went to bed around one after finishing A Local Habitation. The cat was frisky and I couldn't fall asleep until maaaybe three.
Four in the morning everything started shaking waking me up. Laid in bed jittery for the next hour until I fell asleep again. I only felt safe when the cat came out from under the bed and took up his regularly scheduled position at my feet. After, of course, looking out the window to make sure the world was still there. Cats are smart.
Cat woke me up about three hours later.
It was a 4.4 magnitude. Lots of shaking but nothing broke. I think some of my LEGOS fell down though.
Very sleepy now and the caffeine does nothing for me.
